The Saturday before Easter we couldn't help but miss walking to the Middleton Easter Egg Hunt with all our friends. It was always a wild frenzy of trying to get Paxton in the best spot to get the most eggs, which usually ended in him crying and only getting about 4 eggs. But it was always so fun anyways!
Luckily, our ward here in Pocatello does their own little egg hunt. It was the complete opposite of the Middleton hunt, as in there weren't a thousand kids and it was so calm and laid back, but it was just as fun! It was a great way to start off the weekend.
The boys were so excited to get started!
Paxton did great and could have hunted forever, but Colton was done hunting once he discovered that there was candy involved.
Right after the egg hunt, we headed off to Burley to spend some time with Brandon's family. It was a beautiful day. We played outside, went to the park, and most importantly dyed Easter eggs! The boys couldn't get enough of it!
Here's the finished product!
The boys even got to play with Grandma's real Easter bunny {which was a hit for both them and Duke!}
We spent the night in Burley, then went to church, then headed home for the Sargent family egg hunt. Paxton was thrilled that he got to find his own eggs {blue} and Baby Ellisyn's {pink}.
Colton was just thrilled that there was candy in these eggs, too.
Once again, it is nearly impossible to get a picture of the three cousins smiling and looking at the camera, so I settled for one of them just smiling!
We couldn't ask for a better weekend.
We were sad you weren't there for the frenzy craziness! So glad you guys are doing great! Love your updates! And is it possible that colton looks SO big in just a month?! Miss you guys
