Recently...

We have been so busy! We really have not stopped working since we moved to Pocatello!  It has been exhausting, but also pretty fun and rewarding to change this house into our home.  Since I last blogged, a few exciting things have happened.

#1

We got some geese! I don't really know why, other than they are pretty cute {for now}.  Supposedly they will help weed our yard and eat a ton of bugs.  They are quite hilarious when you get them running though, and the ducks love their new buddies.

Brandon turned 27!  We had a great time celebrating his birthday.  Everyone was able to come over for some cake and ice cream.  He is the best dad and husband and we just love celebrating him.

#3

We went on our first family fishing outing this year!  There is a little community pond that they stock with trout.  It was the perfect for our short little evening trip {although nothing will be able to beat our pond back in Middleton!}  Paxton was able to catch his very first fish all on his own. In fact, that was the only fish caught that night!  We were so proud and he was so excited!

Like I said earlier, we have just been working, working, working, and working some more on the house.  We have textured and painted the entryway, front room, and kitchen, but we still have a lot of work to do there, so no pictures yet.  We did paint our railing by our front steps, and put in a new outside light, which I think has made a world of difference in our curb appeal!

My cousin Kristopher {or Kristoff {from Frozen} as Paxton likes to call him} graduated from ISU with his masters along with being commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant.  We are so proud of him and all those who serve our country! It was fun to get together with the Wilson's {we missed Taylor, Maddie, and Camden though!} to celebrate.

We also were able to have a wonderful Mother's Day dinner at our house with my parents, all my siblings, and my grandpa.  It is just so fun to have everyone here and to see them all so frequently.  And it was fun to do a little something for my mom when she does so much for all of us!
