Since the day we moved in, we have been making big plans for our backyard {think fire pit, volleyball court, treehouse, slides, etc.} However, we decided that we should probably do all the inside improvements first. I'm happy to report that we have almost completed the front room, and before and after pictures will be up soon. Brandon has been working so hard in the front room, that he was going a little nuts and needed a break from it.
So what did he do? Went outside and got one of his favorite tools and went to work on making a tree swing.
We were all pretty excited about the idea of a swing, and the boys were right out there with Brandon helping him work.
Here's Pax testing it out before we did the final cuts on the ropes. You could say that the swing was a hit before it was even officially completed!
Almost every morning I can look out the kitchen window and see this. I just love it!
The swing has definitely been worth the time to make it and has already provided the whole family with many afternoons of entertainment!
