Paxton's First Primary Talk

Two Sundays ago, Paxton gave his very first talk in Primary! And he did so good!  We practiced every night before bed, and he actually was able to give some of the talk on his own.  He had a whole section of visitors there to support him, almost doubling the attendance of the Primary.  Grandma and Grandpa Sargent, Aunt Jess, and Grandpa Great were all able to make it.  We couldn't be more proud of our Sweet Boy #1.

Here is his talk, just so we will always remember:

The Holy Ghost Comforts and Guides Me

The first Article of Faith says, "We believe in God the Eternal Father, and in his son Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost."

I am going to talk about the Holy Ghost.

One of the other names of the Holy Ghost is the Comforter.  When I go to bed I always take my favorite blanket because it makes me feel safe.  The Holy Ghost can make us feel at peace when we are  scared or sad, just like my blanket.

The Holy Ghost also guides us and helps us make good choices.  He can tell us what to do just like a stoplight.
   - Sometimes he is a red light and tells us to STOP if we are doing something bad.
   - Sometimes he is a yellow light and warns us of danger.
   - Sometimes he is a green light and tells us to keep going or doing good things.

I believe in the Holy Ghost and that he will comfort and guide me. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
