Christmas this year was a little crazy. We found a leak in our kitchen sink drain, causing quite a bit of water damage, and an insurance claim. Other than the fact that we did not have a functioning kitchen, Christmas was perfect.
Brandon had the whole week before Christmas off, as well as the 3 days after Christmas off, so we were able to have a lot of fun! We had Colton's birthday, the Christmas Light Tour, and an Adults Only Family Christmas Party. We also found out about a family that would be having a rough Christmas and were able, with the help of my whole family, to be some Secret Santas. It truly brought the spirit of Christ into our Christmas, and I hope we are able to do something like that every year.
Christmas Eve was spent at my parents' house, where all the grandkids {minus Miss Lexington} were able to talk to Santa on the phone and track his progress online. We were out late, and the kids fell asleep on the car ride home so we didn't even have to worry about having a hard time getting everyone to bed.
On Christmas morning, everyone slept in until 7:30. We opened our Santa and family presents, then headed up to my parents for Christmas Breakfast and more presents. It really was a wonderful Christmas.
