Sweet baby Colton is 8 months old! I was handling it pretty well, until Brandon pointed out that he is now only 4 months away from a year! I just can't believe how fast he is growing up! He seems to be able to do something new everyday.
He is officially a crawler {although it is strictly just army crawling} and can get to whatever he wants. He is also able to get back into a sitting position from laying down. He has a new found love for door stoppers, and we have had to remove almost every single one throughout the house now that he can get to them. Colt has started pulling himself up on things, and thinks he is pretty cool when he is standing up against anything.
{He is starting to use his little fingers to poke and inspect things....its just so cute!}
He has become much more interested in food, and will take a bite out of just about anything. He just got his first two teeth, one on August 15th, and the next on August 16th. He is not a very happy guy when he is teething, that is for sure! We had a whole week of a miserable, crying, sad little boy. We're very happy to have our happy-go-lucky baby back!

Since Colton has been born, Paxton has developed several nicknames for Colton, starting with Col, which evolved into Culk, and now somehow he is calling him Coco. Hopefully that one won't last too much longer, since its so manly and all.
I think it might even be safe to say that Colton is improving as a sleeper. We can still count on being up 2-3 times a night, but even that is an improvement!
