Island Park 2013

The day after Independence Day, we packed up just about everything we own and headed to one of our favorite places, Island Park.  My parents had been planning this trip since about December of last year, just like they always do.  With my grandma being in the hospital and then passing away, we weren't sure if my parents would even be able to make it.  Things ended up working out as best as they could, and my parents and my grandpa were able to make it for almost the whole week.

The first night it was just our little family and Ryan and Brandi {his fiance!}.  It was fun to get to know her a little better, and I think she will fit in great with our family.  The rest of the family showed up the next day and it was non-stop fun for the next week.  Rzr rides, boating, kayaking, fishing, touring, biking, floating, eating... you name it and we did it!

Here's Ryan, Brandi, and Colt at Johnny Sack's cabin.

Our little family at Big Springs.

Colton decided that he was definitely a grandma's boy while we were there.

The whole family at Mesa Falls.

Paxton could not get enough of all his aunts, uncles, and grandparents.  He was in heaven.

I just love this picture of my grandpa!

We are so thankful for these two and all they do for us.

Brandon and I were even able to go on some morning kayak rides, with no kids! It was so pretty and so fun!

One evening, my parents, grandpa, Colton, Brandon, and I went to Yellowstone.  We saw just about every animal there is to see there!

Colton's first Rzr ride!  He loved it!
 {don't mind his face right here, the wind was blowing!}

Court, Dan, and Jess going for a ride.

As usual, the trip was a blast and way too short!  We stayed a night in Poky, and then went to American Fork for my grandma's funeral.  It was so good to spend time together as a family, and that really was the best part of the trip.

We can hardly wait until Island Park 2014!
