Half of a Year

Sweet little Colton is six months old!  He seems to get bigger and smarter and more mobile every day.  He is now a pretty good sitter and has once again decided that he enjoys eating baby food.  He loves when anyone will talk with him, and wants to be included in everything.  He has recently discovered the iPad and quite enjoys watching shows on it with his big brother.  He is finally big enough to ride in the bike trailer, so we have started going on more family bike rides.  He is still basically a terrible sleeper, but every now and then he gives us a good night.  He has also started giving some pretty good kisses if your lucky.

It has been a half of a year of more diaper changes than I want to think of, more laundry than I have ever done, more craziness than we have ever experienced, and never more than 2 consecutive hours of sleep.  

But it has also been a whole half of a year that we have had an extra set of chubby fingers and toes to love,  another fuzzy head to kiss, and more smiles and giggles than we can count.  

So I guess you can say its been a pretty great half of a year.
