The past few days have been pretty exciting ones! The excitement started on Monday morning when Brandon found a little visitor in our backyard.
We usually find one or two toads a year in our yard, but this one was by far the biggest ever! Paxton was really excited about him, but never quite got the guts to actually pick him up.
We were hoping that since he was already seeming to do fine in our backyard that we would be able to keep him in our outside turtle pen. He stayed in there for a little while, and I think they got along well. This is how I found the toad and turtle when I went to check on them one time! Before the day was over though, our toad must have found some way to squeeze out of the pen, and we haven't seen him since. {Although, we did hear him last night croaking away somewhere in our backyard}.
On Monday night, Uncle Ryan and Aunt Jess came to visit. Ryan had some classes in Boise, so he was staying there, but Jess came to stay with us. We had so much fun with her here. We went on long bike rides everyday and put her to work in our backyard. Then, of course, we did a little shopping. We also made a trip into Boise to swim at Ryan's hotel's pool. Its always so much fun when family comes to see us!
Jess also brought the boys some matching Air Jordan outfits that are absolutely adorable! So of course we had to get some pics!
