At the beginning of October, the whole Sargent clan {minus Brandon - someone has to work I guess!} went apple picking! One of my dad's friends has a small honey crisp apple orchard, and he was kind enough to let us come and pick about a million apples. It was a lot of fun!
The kids had a great time picking apples, and Miss Lexington had a great time eating them.
The next day, we all gathered at my parents home to take care of all those apples we picked. It was a long long day, but we got a lot done! 18 jars of apple pie filling, 20 something bags of freezer applesauce, and 26 quarts of fresh apple juice! And we still had a whole box of apples left to eat.
It was so fun working together and everything was so delicious!
