Our sweet little Lexington is 8 months old! This past month was a big one for our little girl! She is now officially a crawler! It's pretty adorable, but then again, basically everything she does is! She has really started getting upset when she is left alone in a room, and she has started following us room to room. She also loves her big brothers' room, and she can often be found madly crawling to it.
This month was also a big one because Lexington got her first tooth, and her second! They came in at almost the exact same time, and she handled it pretty well. The only reason we even noticed that she was teething was because she would wake up about three times a night instead of her usual once a night. Other than that she was still our little angel baby!
Lexington is still very interested in real food only {no baby food for this girl!} and will eat just about anything we will give her, except for bananas. She gags and spits and cries every single time we try to feed her one!
I just had to put these next pictures in because they are just about the cutest things ever. After I took these pictures I told Brandon that they will be so cute in her wedding slideshow, and I think he could have cried right then! She sure loves her daddy, and he sure loves her!
Lexington's hair is kind of in an awkward stage right now. I can pull it up in a little pony tail on top of her head, but I just love how she looks with a cute headband on. If its not pulled up however, it can get a little wild. Especially after nap time. Somehow it gets smashed down on her forehead and into her eyes and she is usually crying/yelling to get out of bed. Brandon likes to refer to her as "Swamp Thing" at times like that, and I hate to admit it, but it does fit perfectly! He also likes to refer to her milky breath as "swamp breath." Hopefully she will out grow this nickname someday!
Lexington is just such a sweet baby and is truly such a joy to have in our family! We love you Lexi Lou!
