This summer started out pretty lame due to Brandon having to work basically every night of the whole month of June. He was exhausted and since we have 3 kids and a new puppy who don't like to sleep through the night, I was also exhausted. Thank goodness its over! And because we didn't really do anything but survive in June, we are stuffing everything we can into the rest of the summer!
We took a little trip up to Idaho Falls to go to their zoo and ride bikes around the falls. It was hot, but so nice to be out doing something!
Lexington doesn't have quite as much fun as the boys out on our adventures, but she started eating some more baby foods and she definitely has fun doing that! She loves it all!
We were also able to go waterskiing, fishing, and kayaking at Alexander Reservoir. It was so much fun and so beautiful!
And I may have won the fishing competition, even if it was just a carp!
My dad was nice enough to drive our dogs to Brandon's parents' so that we could spend the weekend in Lagoon and not have to rush home to take care of animals.
My parents, all my siblings, and our little family were able to go to Lagoon together. It was a blast! {except for a terrifying 10 minutes when my niece was missing!} It was also very very hot!
It has been a great week since our "summer" has officially started and we are so excited for the rest of the adventures we have planned!
