March 8 was Lexington's blessing day. The day before, her wonderful Aunt Courtney called to say she was coming over so we could get some nice pictures of Lexington in her dress, and I am so glad that she did! It was definitely a two person job!
Her dress was actually the dress that my sisters and I were blessed in, so it was pretty special!

I looked and looked for the perfect headband/bow to put in her hair, but I just couldn't find one that I loved {that was under $17!} so I decided to make one. It turned out great, and I am thinking she will be needing one in every color {although maybe not quite so big}.
A lady from our ward brought over dinner one night after we had Lexington, and she also brought these adorable little booties. It took a little work, but I convinced Brandon that they were the perfect blessing shoes {even if no one could see them under all that dress}.
The pictures turned out perfect. I am so glad that Courtney had the idea to do them the day before so we actually had time to get quite a few.
Brandon's parents and sister came from Burley for Lexington's special day.
And now that we are in Pocatello, all my siblings, my parents, and my grandpa were able to make it.
It was a beautiful day for a baby blessing, so we took a few pictures outside {we probably should have stood so the sun wasn't directly in our eyes--see the above photo}
Brandon did a wonderful job. Listening to him give our babies blessings is one of my favorite things.
We are just so thankful that we are surrounded by so many people who love our sweet little Lexington. We are so blessed to have her in our family! We love you Lexington Kay!
