It's A ......

Today was the big day! We were able to see our sweet little babe again!  Here we are before heading to the ultrasound.

Pax was at preschool and missed out on the pictures, but he was a nervous wreck all morning worrying about whether or not this baby was a girl.  He was still definitely very stuck on the idea that only a little sister would do.  

Everything looked great and right on schedule with the ultrasound.  And we found out that we will be having a baby GIRL!!  I think we are both a little in shock about it, but we are so so excited!  And Paxton is so happy! Now we just have to convince him that we are probably not going to use the name Lucy {he is positive that that is what his little sister should be named, and he gets quite upset if any other name is suggested}.

My mom watched the boys for us while we were at the appointment, and was totally prepared for the outcome with both a boy outfit and a girl outfit when we got home.  So here is the first of many new girly things that will now be a part of our home! 

We are so thrilled to be having another little baby, and that everything about her looks healthy and just how it should.   

We couldn't be happier.
