February

February was a very long, very stressful month.  But some very good things happened in February, too.    We had a great snowstorm at the first of the month.  We spent a whole afternoon out in the snow building our own sledding hill in our front yard.  The boys loved it!

My birthday was on the 11th, and I got the present that I had wanted more than anything....AN OFFER FOR OUR HOUSE!  I had joked that that was all I wanted for my birthday, and I got it!  We will be closing on March 28th.  

Then the hunt for a home in Pocatello began!  It was pretty hard to find anything that we really liked that was in our price range and in an area of town that we were hoping to live in.  The boys and I went to Poky for a weekend to find our new home.  We found a house that we liked and put an offer on it, but someone was willing to pay a lot more than we were for it and we didn't end up with it.  I was pretty worried that we wouldn't find a place to live, as we hadn't seen anything else that we really liked.  Luckily, we went through a  house the next day and decided that it would be perfect for our family!  It is older and definitely needs some updating, but we just know its going to be amazing!  We should be closing on our new house on March 31st.  We can hardly believe this is really happening.  Let the packing begin!

And of course we can't forget Valentine's Day!  We had a party with Paxton's preschool, and the Pax and Colt got Pickle Me 2 (Despicable Me 2) for their Valentine's present from mom and dad.  I just have to share the Valentine that the boys sent to their grandparents and cousins!  It will definitely make you smile.
