Christmas

Christmas this year was so much fun!  Having two sweet boys to celebrate it with makes it better than ever!  Paxton was able to get excited about Santa and Elf on the Shelf, and he actually understood the story of the Savior's birth.  Colton just has a good time no matter what is happening, so of course he had a great time!

On Christmas Eve, we were able to go look at the lights in Caldwell with the Carvers.  We hadn't ever been before, but it was perfect!  The lights were beautiful, and it is a short enough walk that you don't freeze while you're looking at them.

Of course Colton loved his stroller ride.

And Paxton was lucky enough to get pulled in the wagon.

We came home and got the boys into their matching pajamas.  I tried to get some pictures of them by the tree, but almost every single one was blurry since its nearly impossible to get two super excited boys to hold still on Christmas Eve.  But even with a little blur, they are so stinking cute!

Paxton helped to make some cookies, then wrote Santa a lovely note.

We finally got the boys in bed, and then we got to play Santa.  In the morning, the boys were thrilled with all the presents {including Brandon's and mine}.  I did a horrible job taking pictures, as in I didn't take hardly any! But we did get the entire morning on film, so it will not be forgotten.  After presents, we had a huge breakfast then spent the rest of the day in pajamas.  Brandon had the whole week off, and it was so much fun for our little family to celebrate Christmas together.
