On December 20th, Colton turned one year old! I can't believe my baby is that old already! I'm pretty sure he had a great day.
It started out with a big breakfast, then a nap, a big lunch, then a nap, and then opening some presents! He wasn't sure what to do exactly, so it was a good thing he had an older brother to take care of it for him.
He did seem to quite enjoy the wrapping paper!
That evening most of my family came to Boise to watch the ISU basketball game. We met them there, and got a babysitter for Paxton. I just couldn't stand to leave Colton with a babysitter on his very first birthday, so he got to come along. The roads were terrible due to a snow storm we had been having all day, so it took everyone forever to finally make it to our house after the game. We let the boys stay up and hang out with everyone. Uncle Ryan and Aunt Brandi brought Colton a birthday present and both the boys Christmas presents.
Here's Paxton right after he opened his present and realized it was a toy gun! He loves it!
This is about how opening every single present of Colton's goes.
Colton got this cute little plane from Grandma and Grandpa and he is soooo happy with it {and so is Paxton}!
The next day, the whole family was out and about all afternoon. When we came home Pax was exhausted and took a nice long nap with Grandpa Great.
My family left that evening to head back to Pocatello. Thanks everyone for coming and spoiling our kids! We were still celebrating sweet little Colton, so we had some birthday cake! Here is Colton's very own little cake.
It took him a few minutes to figure it out, but he eventually decided that it was pretty delicious! {Don't mind where Paxton decided to run his finger through the frosting on the side of the cake}
Happy Birthday Culkin! We love you so much!
