Easter 2013

We had a great Easter this year!  We were able to got to the Middleton Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday.  Paxton was so excited.....until we got there.  He was pretty upset that he had to wait until they blew the siren to start picking up the eggs.  

Then the siren blew and he froze, then threw himself on the ground crying.  Luckily Brandon was able to grab him a couple eggs before they were all gone.  I guess we need to work on how you are supposed to hunt for eggs.  We didn't get a smile from him the whole time we were there. {Don't mind his beat-up face....he's had a hard time running lately}

And here is Colton on his first egg hunt!  He was great the whole time!

We did get some smiles when we got home though! Paxton LOVES decorating eggs!

He really liked to go through all the egg colors with Colton.

After our busy morning, the boys all settled down to watch some Transformers.

When Paxton woke up from his nap, we discovered the Easter Bunny had come a day early! He must have known that Brandon had to work on Easter day.  We had a little egg hunt in the backyard, which Paxton seemed to do quite a bit better at!  And Paxton's favorite part of Easter?  His brand new cap gun that the Easter Bunny brought him :)  It goes everywhere with us now!

Colton may have slept through the entire egg hunt and finding the Easter baskets, but he did wake up to see what the Easter Bunny brought him.

Colton is just such a happy boy I had to put this pic on here...this is how he usually looks as soon as somebody starts paying attention to him! And he was wearing a cute little Easter outfit {That Paxton wore when he was 6 months old! I think Colt might be a little bigger than his brother!}

We sure do love having these handsome blue-eyed boys to celebrate Easter with!
