One Month Old

Last week our little Colton turned one month old.  I cannot believe how fast time goes by and how fast babies grow.  He is no longer my little 7 lb 11 oz newborn.  He is now my 10 1/2 lb, size 3 month clothing wearing baby.   

He is still a fantastic eater, but must eat every 2 hours on the hour, especially if it is dark outside.  We definitely have had a lot of bonding time between 11pm and 7am over the past month.  Colton does however love to sleep during the day, although he is starting to spend a little more time awake now.  He is also starting to smile, especially if you put him where he can see one of our ceiling fans.  

It has also been fun to watch Paxton warm up to Colton over the past month.  Pax started out almost completely ignoring the baby, but now Colton can't get away with crying or cooing without Paxton telling me all about it.  Pax also gets concerned if the baby is not in the same room as everyone else.  My most favorite thing happened today though.  I caught Paxton calling Colton "Sweet Boy"(which is what we call both Pax and Colt) over and over as he was trying to help Colt with his pacifier.  When he finally got the pacifier in Colt's mouth, he jumped up yelling, "Yes! I did it!" Paxton also likes having Colton in the tub with him and sitting next to him in the car.
